2【和合本】就是把磨石拴在这人的颈项上，丢在海里，还强如他把这小子里的一个绊倒了。

【当代版】如果使一个微不足道的信徒失足了，这人的刑罚就比用大石头挂在颈项，沉下深海里还重。
【KJV】It were better for him that a millstone were
hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend
one of these little ones.
【NIV】It would be better for him to be thrown into the
sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these
little ones to sin.
【BBE】It would be well for him if a great stone was put
round his neck and he was dropped into the sea, before he made trouble for
any of these little ones.

mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the
root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, `Be uprooted and planted in
the sea,' and it will obey you.
【BBE】And the Lord said, If your faith was only as
great as a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this tree, Be rooted up
and planted in the sea; and it would be done.
【ASV】And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of

wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and
drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat
and drink'?
